My background is in human communication and computer science. I have worked extensively on requirements engineering (i.e., the art of finding out what people need) and making technology more accessible to people with different levels of cognitive and perceptual abilities. I have a Masters (Dipl.-Inform.) in Computer Science and a PhD (Dr. phil.)
in Communication Research and Phonetics from the University of Bonn, Germany
I am an independent consultant – I don’t sell apps, software or hardware, and I don’t sell programming or web design services. If I recommend a solution to you, I do not get a cut of the sale price. This means that I can focus on what is best for you, not on what is best for my bank account.
I welcome clients from all countries and continents, as long as it is possible for me to communicate with you in English or German.
The solutions I create are based on over twenty years experience, and I use the latest evidence from disciplines ranging from health care informatics to digital sociology. While I am not qualified to give medical advice, I can help people implement a plan that was suggested by a doctor, therapist, or trainer.
